Auditions are HARD! Be prepared.

It doesn't matter if you have 1 line or 15 pages, being prepared for your on-camera audition is critical if you want to stand out. This is an incredibly competitive market, and the World Wide Web has made it possible for actors to access, and be considered for, auditions without living in LA or NY. But that means, you're auditioning against those who live there as well, and those actors live and breathe auditioning. There is no room for being unprepared. This August, acting coach and local casting director, Jonna Volz, will help you understand what you need to do to be ready and be remembered.

If you want to learn more or sharpen your tools, sign up for AFR 101: Audition Prep. In this class you will explore ways to be prepared for an in-person casting call. With practice auditions every week, you'll begin to find your very own process that gets you ready to bring your character to life in front of a casting director. The final class will include a panel of local producers and casting professionals.
