HOW THIS WORKS:

All actors will meet on March 6th and work through character development and story exercises to create the premise for their scenes. They will pair up with scene partners and improv ideas in the space. Each acting team will share ideas with our comedy writers. By the end of the day, everyone will have a scene script. The following week will give students time to memorize their scene, have private rehearsals with their scene partners and prepare wardrobe.

Saturday morning, March 12th will be the time to run through each scene with the cameras so everyone is prepared for Shoot Day. Chet Smith will be set up to take Character Headshots on Saturday morning on location. Anyone who selects that option, will coordinate a time that does not conflict with their scene rehearsal.

Sunday, March 13th will be a full day of filming the scenes. Each scene will be filming for a 1 hour block with 2 cameras. Actors in other scenes are invited to act as background for each other. Background is a fun and educational way to learn more about acting on camera.

SCHEDULE:

DAY 1 • SUNDAY, MARCH 6TH  1:00pm - 7:00pm 

Acting Workshop

              • Character Development

DAY 2 • SATURDAY, MARCH 12TH  9:00am - 12:00pm

Rehearse scenes

              • Rehearse scene with blocking and cameras

              • Character headshots taken (optional)

              •  All actors are needed for the full rehearsal time

              •  Scene order will be given

DAY 3 • SUNDAY, MARCH 13TH   9:00am - 6:00pm

Film scenes

              • Film All Scene in 1 hour blocks with 2 cameras

              • Actors are invited as Background in other scenes (optional)
